This vibrant establishment not only promises a remarkable culinary experience but also an ambiance that captivates the senses. In my exploration of the dining scene, few places manage to strike the right balance between outstanding food and warm service like Indochine does.

As I stepped into Indochine, I was immediately drawn to its unique interior design. The atmosphere is both comfortable and engaging, featuring a small pond and eye-catching water features that create a serene dining experience. The aesthetic appeal is complemented by interesting artwork throughout the restaurant, making it as much about the dining experience as it is about the food served.

While the food shines brightly, it’s worth noting that some reviews indicate room for improvement in certain areas, such as the dessert options. I recently visited **Indochine** in Tacoma, and as someone who moved from a country where restaurant service is at a very high level, I tend to be quite critical of establishments here in the U.S. However, I also understand that service standards vary, and you can't impose your own expectations when local customs are different. If people in America enjoy this level of service, then that’s the norm here. That said, I still have high standards, and I have to say, Indochine is one of the few places that genuinely deserves the 5 stars I'm giving it. One thing that stood out to me was how promptly the waitstaff cleared our table — they didn’t wait for the plates to pile up, which is rare in many places I’ve visited here. We ordered **empanadas** as a starter, and they were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly hot — both my husband and I loved them. He had beef with mushrooms and rice, a very hearty dish that left him satisfied, and I enjoyed the tuna sashimi with a fresh salad of vegetables and pineapple. The food was a pleasant surprise. Another lovely touch was the **live flowers** on the table. I always notice those small details, and it added a fresh, welcoming vibe to the dining experience. Indochine really impressed me with both the quality of food and attention to detail.

The pictures I have don’t do it justice! The inside is fun with a small pond and water feature. The tables are largely open with no backs making for a truly unique dining experience. The service was quick and polite. The food was amazing. I would highly recommend the drunken noodles, Panang curry, and the orange chicken. All were amazing and cooked to perfection. The lychee martini is must try if you’re doing drinks as well!

I had a pretty good experience The food was really delicious. Every dish I tried had authentic and well-balanced flavors, which made the dinner very enjoyable. You can see the effort and dedication that went into the preparation of each of the dishes. However, I must mention that the affogato did not meet my expectations. The quality was not up to par with what I had enjoyed in the rest of the meal. This kept me from giving the overall experience 5 stars, as I believe that every little thing counts. In short, if you are looking for a place to enjoy a nice Asian dinner, I would definitely recommend Indochine. Just make sure you choose the dessert well. I hope they improve the affogato in the future!
